Samuhik Vivah Sammelan — समूहिक विवाह सम्मेलन

When families plan a wedding gathering together, they can share arrangements and keep costs in view.

The programme

Many families, one day एक साथ, एक दिन

A wedding should be a happy occasion. For many families, planning one also means thinking carefully about the cost. A group wedding offers a way to share some arrangements while celebrating each couple.

At a Samuhik Vivah Sammelan, families can plan around one date and venue. What is included depends on the event, so ask the organisers which costs are shared, what each family needs to arrange and how marriages will be registered.

The idea is simple: celebrate with dignity without treating expensive arrangements as a requirement. No family should feel pressured to spend beyond its means.

Before you take part

  • Confirm the date, venue and arrangements with the organisers.
  • Ask how much each family will contribute and what that covers.
  • Find out how and when the marriage will be registered.
  • Check whether the event is approved under the Rajasthan assistance scheme.
